Thought window cling sheets were only for windows? Thought the only way to apply a design to glass was with waterslip decals? Think again! This beautiful little glass candleholder has been decorated using a stained glass design printed on our Inkjet Window Clings and then wrapped around the glass candleholder. Place a votive or tea light candle in it and watch the colors flicker around the room. And don’t stop with a stained glass design – how about photos or holiday designs? The best thing about this votive holder “wrap” is that it’s removable, so you can change designs as often as you like! And here’s a great gift idea…make several “themed” wraps and give them as a set with a votive holder and a supply of scented tea lights! MATERIALS: Inkjet Window Clings Plain inkjet paper Straight sided votive holder or any straight sided glass to hold a candle Tape measure Scissors INSTRUCTIONS: 1) Open a blank page in your graphics program. 2) Using a measuring tape, measure the height of your glass votive holder. 3) Now wrap the measuring tape around the glass to measure the circumference. 4) Draw a rectangle on your page that matches the measurements you took. Make the outline of this rectangle a light grey. 5) Pick clipart or photos for the wrap and place them inside the rectangle. For our stained glass design we picked one piece of stained glass clipart and then duplicated and joined them together until the rectangle was filled. You may have to resize the items slightly to get them to fit in the rectangle. 6) Once you are happy with your design print it out on a sheet of plain paper. Cut it out and wrap it around the glass votive holder to check the size. Make any necessary adjustments to your file. 7) Set your printer to print on an inkjet transparency and print the finished design on the shiny side of the window cling sheet and allow to dry for about 5 minutes. 8) Once the design is dry, cut it out, peel the backing sheet off and wrap the cling around your votive holder.
