Determining the Printable Side of Inkjet Specialty Papers

Here's a little trick that will help you determine the printable side of many specialty inkjet papers that are coated for printing on only one side. Works 99.9% of the time and will help to keep you from ruining sheets that you paid good money for!

Dampen your fingertip slightly (we find the best way to do this is on the inside of your lower lip - it keeps your fingertip from being too wet). Now touch your dampened fingertip to the inkjet paper you are testing. Repeat this process on the other side of the sheet. The stickier of the two sides is the one coated for printing on an inkjet!
